This is where the intensive cleaning comprex\u00ae comes into play. The high shear forces mobilize those substances in the pipeline and reliably carry them out.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of unexpected events, for example if extraneous water enters the drinking water installation, the causes of the contamination must first be eliminated. This is followed by intensive cleaning of the entire system by means of pulse rinsing, often in combination with disinfection.<\/p>\n<p>For pipelines with nominal diameters of DN 80 and larger, flushing with water or flushing compressors is not sufficient. Compared to these pipelines, standpipes have smaller nominal diameters. To achieve the desired effect, many taps would therefore have to be open at the same time (DVGW Worksheet W 557). Therefore, water flushing requires a lot of drinking water, which must be disposed of as wastewater after flushing.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, comprex\u00ae cleaning is more efficient when water consumption is low. comprex\u00ae saves 80% to 90% drinking water compared to water
